Dieng Trip with Legal Aliens

holla, people! how's life? =D

i'm superb!!
last two weekends i went for a trip. finally, yayyy!!!
i went with some friends to Wonosobo, decided at the last minute. haha, seriously.
i just have few hours to prepared and so god damn exicted x))
little bit hectic in the beginning but heavy fun at the rest of it =D

Dieng is beautiful place.
and superb cold. i can stay in there forever in only not so that cold.
we went to see sunrise, so we're going about 4 am in the morning (so that i have to woke up at 3.30 am) T.T
but it paid =D

okay the story goes. we go up up and up to Telaga Warna, or if it translated into English it would be Colored Lake. yes, it has a color. and sulfur is the thing behind it. ugh, i hate sulfur. it made me sick, combine with the cold, perfect killer.
yet, who can resist the beauty of nature? yes, no one. damn people who disturb it.

but, rather than make you disappointed, please take a look at this =D

wow, it was a great trip. we got new experiences, having fun, make friend =D 
since i don't have so much money, i prefer a backpack rather than a suitcase. 
we went there by motorbike, it took approximately 5 hours, including rest. from jogja, two times full filled the gas. 
i recommend you Sekar Pajang restaurant if you wanna take a rest, the food price there really saves your pocket.
good food, student price. relaxing view, hilarious friends, perfect!
for ticketing, IDR 3000 to enter dieng area, IDR 6000 to enter Telaga Warna, IDR 10000 (IDR 25000 for foreigners) to enter the temples.


o wait, i haven't tell you who are legal aliens, have i?

Mahasi(s)wa Itu Status Paling Enak Sedunia

mahasiswa itu status paling enak sedunia.
dikatakan sudah cukup besar untuk bisa melakukan apa saja.
dipercaya, jadi bisa pergi kemana saja sendirian.
kalau harga kemahalan, minta saja harga mahasiswa.
kalau mau apa-apa, jaminkan saja kartu mahasiswa.
kalau tidak suka sama satu keputusan, protes dengan label mahasiswa.
kelar perkara. kadang-kadang.

mumpung masih mahasiswa, kata orang.
masih bisa main-main sama hidup.
masih bisa senang-senang sampai lupa waktu.
masih bisa keliling dunia dari senin sampai senin lagi. sepuasnya.
masih dapat kucuran dana, jadi tenang saja.
memang tidak semua mahasiswa seperti itu. rata-ratakan saja.

tapi kalau mahasiwa?
katakan saja, mahasiswa yang lupa kodratnya.
lupa kalau ada kewajiban di setiap hak yang didapat.
lupa kalau sebenarnya dialah tumpuan negara. atau yang paling berat, jadi tumpuan keluarga.

mumpung masih mahasiswa,
masih bisa belajar banyak.
masih bisa cari tahu lebih banyak.
masih bisa cari bekal, buat nanti selepas status mahasiswa.

Hi, this is Bejo!

hola!
guess what, i got a new toy!! yeay!!

like i have told you before, my last camera was sold. yes, that Ricoh F50s.
the new one is,

RICOH 500GX



his name is Bejo, isn't he handsome? =3


and call me lucky again. i just spent IDR 60k for this awesome cam! amazing right?
so that's why i call it bejo. bejo means lucky in javanesse language.

the shutter still broke, need to go to pak rahmin to fix it. my friend said it wont be more than  IDR 50k.
there are some dirt in its body, but i can clean it up. plan to paint it though.
can't wait to playing around with bejo ~ ~ ~(/´▽`)/

I Told You, Mereka Belum Mati.

Guten Morgen!
hari minggu yang cerah ya. jarang-jarang pula aku selo di hari minggu yang menyenangkan ini.
kenapa menyenangkan?
karena aku punya bahan buat dijadiin post disini. yayayyy!!

so, semalem aku baru aja dateng ke acara yang namanya Pekan Wisata Budaya Kotagede 2012 "Bedhol Keprajan". istimewa sekali ya?
kenapa istimewa?
karena Kotagede itu semacam daerah tertua di Jogjakarta. umurnya udah hampir 4 abad. dulunya, ni daerah pusat kekuasaan Mataram. nah, karena sejarahnya yang panjang dan kehidupan tradisional yang tak luntur di makan jaman, pantaslah kalau daerah ini kaya akan budaya. kalau kesitu, kamu bisa nemu banyak banget bangunan bersejarah. waktu aku lewat situpun, kepalaku gak bisa berenti noleh kanan kiri karna banyaknya hal menarik yang bisa dilihat. ini tempat juga seru banget buat hunting foto. kalau mau tahu lebih banyak soal Kotagede, kamu bisa baca ini dan ini.

ceritanya, aku dateng kesitu karena pengen liat Opera Jawa: Langen Madra Wanaran. does anybody know what it is? don't ask me. but, call me lucky because i brought right partner that could tell me everything about it.
Opera jawa itu semacam wayang orang. nah, kalau Langen Madra Wanaran itu sebuah tarian tradisional jawa yang sumber ceritanya dari epos Ramayana. wanara sendiri artinya kera, and yes, i saw so many monkeys =p
ini tarian katanya termasuk pementasan langka. soalnya narinya sambil jongkok (jengkeng). plus, gak cuma nari tapi juga nembang.
tingkat kesulitannya tinggi banget deh, makanya gak semua orang bisa dan akhirnya bukan jadi tarian yang populer.
waktu itu ceritanya soal perang antara kerajaan kera sama kerajaan buto (raksasa). 
lucunya, ada cucu si dalang yang meranin wanara. umur 5 tahun kayaknya. asli imut banget..
total ada 5 babak yang dimaenin, sekitar 15 lebih pemain dengan durasi 45 menit.
so far, i love that dance. very nice one.

ada yang ngeganjel banget soal ni acara.
kalau liat posternya sih, aku pikir ni acara bakal rame banget. bayanganku pun pendoponya, pendopo gede gitu.
makanya pas yang ngejemput aku telat sejam, aku udah was-was gitu. jangan-jangan bakal ketinggalan banyak.
ternyata, boi. dengan perjalanan yang makan waktu sejam plus kudu nyari-nyari jalan karena gak ada papan petunjuk,
begitu sampe sana acara belum mulai. godness, acaranya ngaret 2 jam. dua jam. endonesaaa.
pengunjungnya sih rame, tapi ya warga kampung sekitar banyaknya. jadi kayak cuman acara kampung gitu. sayang banget.
adasih bule. namanya patrick (no, not that patrick the star! lol). antropolog asal belgia yang udah 7 tahun tinggal di indonesia.
katanya si mas patrick ini ngajak temen-temennya buat nonton, etapi gak ada yang dateng. kesasar kali.
gila, kotagede tu jalannya rumit. salah belok dikit, tau deh bisa nyasar kemana.

gini ni. ada potensi pariwisata seijo gini, tapi penanganannya kurang yoi.
kemana perginya itu brosur-brosur bikinan dinas kepariwisataan dan kebudayaan?

but. ada satu sisi yang bikin aku bangga.
anak kecil yang nonton banyak. dan mereka kelihatan excited gitu.
sebelum pentas tari langen madra wanaran, ada 3 pentas tari yang ditampilin sama anak-anak.
ada tari rampak, tari goyang sander, dan tari kipas kembar. semua pemainnya anak-anak. paling gede usia sd kelas 6 aku tebak.
see? kebudayaan kita belum mati, man. younger generation masih kenal kok sama tradisi leluhur. 
dan udah tugas kita yang tua-tua ini buat terus ngejaga apa yang udah diwarisin. tsaaah.

tumben sekali ya pagi-pagi gini aku sudah bikin posting.

beberapa hari kemarin aku nemu link yang judulnya Test Your Brain Grade. iseng aku nyoba dan ternyata hasilnya bikin terkagum-kagum juga, sampai seakurat itu. program komputer dan internet masa ini sungguh canggih ya.
